Spring: The time of year where Bing actually starts looking nice

Who doesn’t love spring time in Binghamton?

It’s finally that time of the year again Binghamton! The sun is shining, the weather’s warm, and day drinking season is in full swing.  Jokes aside, Spring is finally coming by storm here in Vestal, the winter jackets and hats are being sent back home as the tank tops, and sundresses are finally making their long-awaited appearances.  Along with the changes of appearances comes a change of emotion.  Maybe it’s just me but once the sun finally comes out people attitudes begin to change.

Even though I’m still a freshman the Binghamton University I could already feel a joyful vibe taking over campus.  In the dark days of Winter when I would walk back from class, in the HORRIBLE Binghamton weather, I’ll immediately jump on my bed, open up my computer, and turn on my favorite TV show (which doesn’t sound that terrible as I’m typing).  However, now that the weather’s changed my first move after class is writing in my college group me “Anybody trying to throw a football around?”, or “Anybody trying to play basketball?”, for me personally anything outside will make my day a lot better.  But it’s not just me who catching the Binghamton spring vibes.  Now if you walk outside any building you’ll see students tanning, listening to music, even playing some volleyball with laughs and smiles happening constantly.

However one of Binghamton’s most hidden gems comes out and thrives during the spring time.  Walking through our nature preserve is breath-taking experience.  The flowers, the trees, the entire scenery, but most importantly the smell of fresh air can put a smile on anyone’s face.  For anybody who hasn’t checked out the nature preserve has to check it out as soon as possible, you’re truly missing an amazing experience.

One of the breath-taking sites Binghamton Universities nature preserve has to offer.

Another thing that I’ve picked up on is the change in apparel.  The girls are bringing out their new sun dresses, (definitely an enticing sight for all gentlemen), and the guys are breaking out there brand new muscle tee’s (definitely an enticing sight for all the ladies).  Nonetheless the biggest apparel addition for all of Binghamton is showing off their brand new sunglasses.  Personally I’m a big fan of sunglasses, not only do they protect your eyes from sun, but they look great, so you’re essentially getting the best of both worlds.

Anyway it’s way too nice out to keep on writing hope you guys learned a bit and take advantage of the beautiful weather Binghamton.
