We timed the Eagle’s lunch and Lower dinner lines

Instead of waiting for a salad you could’ve walked to Chipotle

If a JCrew opened on campus, the lines would probably be as long as they are in Eagle’s.

We waited at Eagle’s during lunchtime, in half-hour intervals from 11am to 1pm, and Lower at dinnertime, from 6pm to 8pm.

The average Eagle’s wait for a salad is 13 minutes. The line for Eagle’s peaked at noon, with a 20-minute line. A half-hour later, at 12.30pm, the rush died down – we got in and out in under five minutes.

At the dinner rush at Lower, from 6pm to 7.30pm, our wait averaged 21 minutes. This was both for the grill and the cheesesteak line. However, at 8pm, lines died down to six minutes.

In the 20 minutes it takes to get to the front of line, you could’ve run two miles. You could’ve Netflix and chilled for an episode of Parks and Rec. You could’ve baked cookies. You could’ve waited for Google to open on Internet Explorer.

RIP to the opportunities missed to get questionable-looking salmon.

The photos below show our dining halls in all their glory.
