Police looking for man who sexually abused woman near ASU downtown Phoenix campus

He is a 6ft Caucasian male in his 20s, with black hair and brown eyes

A woman was sexually abused by a stranger on April 8 near the Downtown Phoenix campus, near Washington and Seventh Street. The incident occurred shortly after 9:15 pm while the 18-year-old woman was walking home.

The stranger, who is being described as a 6ft tall Caucasian man in his 20s, with black hair and brown eyes, followed the victim and tried to get her attention before eventually abusing her.

Having run away, the perpetrator has not been seen since. He was said to be wearing a Nike hoodie and had a “strong odor.”

A composite sketch, above, has been released by investigators.
