This student took her dog to class and melted everyone’s heart

A sophomore melted her entire class' heart when she took her one-year-old dog to her Political Science seminar.

Jessica Lewis had one final class before leaving her Georgia college ahead of Hurricane Irma – her only problem was that she needed to take her dog Luna with her.

So she emailed her professor to ask if Luna could come too.

He said: "SHE'S OBVIOUSLY A GOOD GIRL SO OF COURSE YOU CAN BRING HER."

"I honestly did not think he would allow me to bring her," she told The Tab. "It was completely on a whim – they cancelled classes for the next day and I had to take Luna with me."

So Luna came to class.

"When students walked and saw Luna they were really excited about it," she said. "Someone shouted: 'There's a whole ass dog in here!'"

Jessica, a double major in Political Science and Arabic, added: "She walked around and got pets from everybody and had a great time. She made a lot of friends."

Thousands of people have found the whole thing adorable – Jessica posted about it and received over 15,000 shares and 6000 likes.
