Experts have worked out what the hardest colleges to get into are, and no surprises that Harvard, Stanford and Yale are at the top.

Using data from the US Department of Education on acceptance rates and SAT/ACT percentile scores, Niche, a site that ranks colleges, have revealed the toughest schools in the nation to get into for 2018.

MIT, Cal Tech, Princeton, UChicago, Columbia, Vanderbilt and Brown make up the rest of the top 10.

Check out where you rank below – we’ve included the top 25 schools, and then every Tab college beyond that. The table is out of 1,671 institutions – so even if you’re not in the top 100, you’re still doing pretty well.
