Boston College considers selling beer and wine at Alumni Stadium

Gameday is about to get way more lit

Football games just got a lot more fun for Boston College. Starting this coming football season, fans might be able to buy alcohol at games.

A university spokesman confirmed that the school is considering adding beer and wine to concession menus for the public to buy at football games.

“We are looking to file an amendment to our entertainment license that would enable us to expand distribution of beer and wine at locations throughout Alumni Stadium this coming season,” spokesman Jack Dunn said.

According to the Boston Globe, Alumni stadium currently limits alcoholic beverages sales to only suites and boxes inside the stadium, as well a tent adjacent to the venue.

This change would be an expansion of the University’s current distributions and would be the first time that Boston College has sold alcohol outside of stadium boxes and suites.
