Texas A&M ranked one of the top 200 schools in the world

We ranked over 400 spots higher than rivals like LSU and Alabama


As if we needed reminding how great Texas A&M is, we have officially been declared as one of the top 200 universities in the entire world.

The study, which judges the best 1000 universities across the planet, placed us at 195th. There are an estimated 26,000 universities in the world.

We fell about 30 spots since last year, but we also remained ahead of rivals like LSU and Alabama. We even beat most other Texas schools; notably Texas Tech and Baylor.

MIT, Stanford and Harvard all took the top spots for another year running.

The QS World University Rankings bases their scores on the expert opinions of 75,015 academics and 40,455 employers, also analyzing institutional research impact. It's known as the definitive guide of global university rankings.
