#TrumpBoysBreakTheInternet is back, and it is still so goddamn funny

Do you remember the #TrumpBoysBreakTheInternet hashtag?

In December of 2016 it came into our lives, and for a moment our feeds were filled with actual people who had gone out and voted for Trump. Because, apparently, for some reason, a lot of people did that.

Like, a lot of people.

But this time it’s back and better than before

The second #TrumpBoysBreakTheInternet started trending this time around, people weren’t even angry, they were just ready to make jokes about it. We need something to keep us going I guess.

I have literally never seen the internet band together in this way. It’s like we’ve forgotten all of our disagreements in the recesses of Reddit, and headed over Twitter for some Trump boy roasting.

Just remember not to leave them over the fire for too long — they’re sensitive.

A lot of the tweets reference how they’ve already broken plenty

And some are claiming that their internet is not, in fact, broken

While others are commenting on the type of boys you can find in the thread

And a few are just ready to get on with it

But one thing is for sure, even if our country is horribly broken, the internet is still a safe space

For now.

I’m just glad we can all still laugh, because if we’re not laughing we might have time to think, and then we’ll remember why this is actually the least funny situation in the world. This is all we have left.
