People are really into this guy who brought food and roses to a girl in the library

A photo of a guy carrying red roses and a meal from Whataburger — a popular fast-food restaurant in Texas — has people longing for a man to bring them flowers and fries.

He was spotted by a student at the University of North Texas in Denton who uploaded the picture to Twitter, captioning it: "This guy walks in the library with flowers and whataburger for a girl like who's mans is this and where can I find one?[sic]"

Since the tweet was posted on Monday the mystery man in cowboy boots has received over 38,000 likes and is getting a lot of praise for his sweet gesture.

He's been called a "legend," a "man," and has some people on the verge of tears.

Some girls are even @ing their guys to let them know they need to step up their game

While some people are just here to applaud his choice of footwear

But then there are the people who actually know a thing or two about life, and are certain this guy has messed up

Because we're too used to guys who do shit like this

Which brings us to the question we should really be asking — what has mystery man in cowboy boots done?

We reached out to students at UNT to get the whole story behind his gesture, but also because we love gossip and really want to know how he fucked up so bad that he had to make up for it with roses, food and an extra large drink.

Emily Sides, a senior at UNT who saw him coming up the stairs, said he looked like he was on his way to cheer someone up during finals.

"People kept saying he must have done something wrong but he seemed too happy to have 'done something,'" she told babe.

Cute, but I'm still not convinced.
