| UPDATED

According to a new ranking, the top schools in America based on starting salary are Harvey Mudd, MIT and Stanford, as the Class of 2017 can expect to earn at least $70,000.

College experts at Payscale have compiled starting salary data of 1000 American schools – how much you’re going to earn, on average, within five years of graduating. In our ranking below, we’ve included the top 100 Tab schools. Each college comfortably beats the national average of $33,500, as defined by the Department of Education.

See where your school ranks here. It’s worth adding that because of their specialized programs and different approach to regular four year institutions, we have left out military schools.
