Taylor Swift says she isn’t sure if pop is her thing anymore

According to ET, there’s more Swift music on the horizon for us, but it might not be what we expect.

They say she’s been busy working on her upcoming album, and has fled to Nashville as a way of escaping the paparazzi. And it’s true — as of late, she’s been far less present on social media, and seems to be tied up in something else.

According to a source close to Swift, her new music could be out as soon as year’s end.

When asked about her musical direction, she said she’s interested in always “keeping people on their toes.”

A few months ago Gigi Hadid said she was glad Swift made it to her Hilfiger runway show, because “she’s starting to go back to work in the studio again.” It’s been two months now since she’s performed, and she’s only been on Instagram to promote Lorde’s new music.
