When you're a student there are a thousand different reasons why you don't get your eight hours. From late-night library sessions desperately trying to pull up your sorry excuse for a GPA, to rowdy college bars with watered down beer, it's no wonder students are getting to bed late.

According to data released by sleep trackers Jawbone, who tracked the sleeping patterns of thousands of college students at universities across America, the biggest nightowls go to the University of New Hampshire.

Averaging a midweek bedtime of 1:52AM, students at UNH are up later than any other school in America, including every Ivy League school.

At the other end of the table, students at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute get nearly an hour more sleep with an average bedtime of 1:02AM.

According to the CDC, young adults should get around 8 hours sleep a night to stay healthy.
