The March blizzard has finally hit the East Coast, transforming New York from a garbage-strewn hellscape into a garbage-strewn hellscape with snow on it. Most buses are operating VERY SLOWLY today – but which subways are running?

For those brave souls attempting to get literally anywhere in the city today, here are the lines that are running. All trains are running local.

Is the A train running today?

Partially – the A train is running between 207 St-Inwood and Euclid Av. It is not running between Euclid Av and Ozone Park Lefferts Boulevard, Euclid Av and Far Rockaway Mott Av, or Euclid Av and Rockaway Park Beach-116 St. The Grant Av subway station is shut.

Is the B train running today?

No, the B train is suspended.

Is the C train running today?

No, the C train suspended.

Is the D train running today?

Partially – the D train is running between Norwood-205 St and Broadway-Lafayette. It is not running between Broadway-Lafayette and Coney Island-Stilwell Av.

Is the E train running today?

Yes. The E train is running between Jamaica Center Parsons/Archer and World Trade Center.

Is the F train running today?

Partially – the F train is running between Jamaica-179 St and Jay St-MetroTech. It is not running between Jay St-MetroTech and Coney Island-Stilwell Av.

Is the G train running today?

Partially – the G train is running between Court Sq and Bergen St. It is not running between Bergen St and Church Av.

Is the J train running?

Partially – the J train is running between Delancey St/Essex St and Broad St. It is not running between Delancey St/Essex St and Jamaica Center Parsons/Archer.

Is the L train running?

Partially – the L train is running between 8 Av and Myrtle Wyckoff Avs. It is not running between Myrtle Wyckoff Avs and Canarsie Rockaway Parkway.

Is the M train running?

No, the M train is suspended.

Is the N train running?

Partially – the N train is running between Lexington Av/59 St and 59 St-Brooklyn. It is not running between 59 St-Brooklyn and Coney Island Stilwell Av, or Lexington Av/59 St and Astoria Ditmars Boulevard.

Is the Q train running?

Partially – the Q train is running between 95 St-2 Av and Canal St. It is not running between Canal St and Coney Island Stilwell Av.

Is the R train running?

Partially – the R train is running between Forest Hills-71 Av and Bay Ridge 95 St, except for late nights. A shuttle is running late night between 59 St-Brooklyn and 95 St.

Is the S running?

The 42 St S is running. The Franklin Av S is suspended. The Rockaway Parkway S is suspended.

Is the W train running?

No. The W train is suspended.

Is the Z train running?

No. The Z train is suspended.

Is the 1 train running?

Partially – the 1 train is running between 191 St and South Ferry. It is not running between 191 St and Van Cortlandt Park 242 St.

Is the 2 train running?

Partially – the 2 train is running between 3 Av-149 St and Flatbush Av. It is not running between 3 Av-149 St and Wakefield 241 St.

Is the 3 train running?

Partially – the 3 train is running between Harlem 148 St and Utica Av, except late nights. Late nights it is running between Harlem 148 St and Times Sq-42 St. It is not running between Utica Av and New Lots Av.

Is the 4 train running?

Partially – the 4 train is running between 149 St Grand Concourse and Utica Av. It is not running between 149 St Grand Concourse and Woodlawn.

Is the 5 train running?

No. The 5 train is suspended.

Is the 6 train running?

Partially – the 6 train is running between Hunts Point Av and Brooklyn Bridge. It is not running between Hunts Point Av and Pelham Bay Park.

Is the 7 train running?

Partially – the 7 train is running between 34 St-Hudson Yards and Hunters Point Av. It is not running between Hunters Point Av and Flushing-Main St.
