Wearing white has been synonymous with the women’s rights movement since the Suffragette era, but at Trump’s address to the nation last night, women of the Democrat party donned the color to send a message to the president.

“We wear white to unite against any attempts by the Trump Administration to roll back the incredible progress women have made in the last century, and we will continue to support the advancement of all women,” organizer Representative Lois Frankel said in a statement. “We will not go back.”
