Trump is pissed not because SNL made fun of Spicer, but because he was played by a woman

Color me shocked!

The Tab

The past few weeks have provided comics everywhere enough material to last a lifetime, so when the latest SNL skit aired, no one should have been surprised that Trump’s administration was the focal point for skewering — particularly White House Press Secretary and human beanbag chair Sean Spicer.

But of course, Donald Trump was.

Poor Spicer is new to this, and he already started off on the wrong foot as a second choice for the role (apparently Trump initially wanted a woman ?????). So yes, Spicer is in a weird spot, caught in the crossfire of Trump against literally everyone else.

Politico reported yesterday that according to sources close to Trump, Spicer’s being portrayed by a woman was “most problematic” to him.

The issue here isn’t that Spicer sucks (which he does) or that Trump is upset that we laughed at his administration’s expense (which we did) — the issue is he’s upset that Spicer was portrayed McCarthy. Naturally, that’s his response, and though we’re appalled, can we really say we’re surprised?

Let’s absorb this info, processing it while we perpetually burn in the hell that we now call Trump’s America.

Though Donald is normally one for like, a lot of words,

he was eerily quiet on the issue over Twitter once the skit was aired. Perhaps embarrassed that Melissa McCarthy showed more balls and credibility in the 8-minute scene than Spicer has since taking office?

I dunno, Trump, you may have some true competition on your lil hands.

McCarthy for PressSecretary? Maybe? Please?
