Watch Gandalf warn students they ‘shall not pass’ at UAlbany’s University Library

A dapper individual dressed as Gandalf from Lord of the Rings paraded through the stacks and tables at University Library at the University of Albany amid finals week crunch studying.

A student managed to take Snapchat of what is unarguably one of the best finals week pranks we’ve seen.

“You shall not pass!” yelled the man in the Gandalf costume as he made it absolutely clear that we “are all going to fail!”

The student who recorded the ordeal told The Tab the man entered through a side door on a quiet floor of the library, and it scared him at first.

“We thought it may have been a clown honestly, you know there’s been recent problems with that,” he added.
