AP announce week two CFB rankings

Sorry Oklahoma and LSU

Unsurprisingly Alabama stay top of rankings after their rout of USC, who drop out of the 25. Clemson remain in second following their win at Auburn.

Florida State move up one spot from fourth after their convincing win against the Rebels on Monday night. Ohio State move up, coming in at fourth following J.T. Barrett’s six TD passes against Bowling Green, setting a Buckeye record in the process. Michigan complete the top five after dismantling Hawaii.

Kirby Smart’s UGA pulled through against a resilient UNC team, in the second half they went on a 19-0 run. The Bulldogs now sit at ninth. This was in no small part down to Nick Chubb. The undeniable star of the show, ran for 222 yards and reminded us all what they have been missing after his injury last October.
