Brock Turner released from jail after just three months
One month per each count of sexual assault?
Caroline PhinneyFormer Stanford student Brock Turner was released from Santa Clara County jail in San Jose this morning at 6am after a mere three months.
He was found guilty of sexually assaulting an unconscious woman behind a dumpster.
The length of his sentence remains wildly controversial, with comments such as “The Kanye West/Kim K/Taylor Swift feud and Tom Hiddleston and Taylor Swift lasted for longer than this.”
Because he had no previous disciplinary record, he was originally sentenced to six months in prison, but instead spent three months there and will spend the next three years on probation.
