Trump hints at guns stopping Clinton

He said maybe ‘Second Amendment people’ could do something

Donald Trump seemed to suggest to his supporters today that Hillary Clinton could be shot.

At a rally in Wilmington, North Carolina Trump said the Democratic nominee, if elected, would have the ability to appoint specific liberal justices to the Supreme Court.

And the Republican nominee noted to a booing crowd: “Hillary wants to abolish, essentially abolish the Second Amendment.

“By the way, if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do folks.

“Though the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know.”

Robby Mook, Clinton’s campaign manager, hit back shortly after in a statement: “This is simple – what Trump is saying is dangerous. A person seeking to be the president of the United States should not suggest violence in any way.”

Meanwhile Jason Miller, a top Trump aide tried to downplay the remarks: “It’s called the power of unification – 2nd Amendment people have amazing spirit and are tremendously unified, which gives them great political power.”
