I spoke to Trump-voting ‘babes’ about why they’re gunning for him

As a Brit I’ve had a pretty shit few days. Not only did we leave the EU, we then got hammered by Iceland in the Euro’s. As a young Englishman I was broken, embarrassed and ashamed.

Then I arrived in America and realized things could be worse.

I don’t know loads about American politics but it looks to me like picking between Hillary and Trump is like picking between Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea. But the insane support for Trump is the most baffling thing about the whole farce.

How a sexist, racist, toupé-wearing demagogue can be a serious contender for the leader of the free world is beyond me. What’s especially mind-blowing is the support he seems to be getting from young women on Twitter. Hashtags like #Babes4Trump and #TrumpGirlsBreakTheInternet have been massive since he started dominating the Republican field. So I decided to lower my barriers (and arguably IQ) by reaching out to the virtual world of Trump loving gals.

My name is Sarah, I’m 20 years old, and I attend community college in New Jersey.

Why are you voting for Donald Trump?

I am voting for Donald Trump because I believe in him. He is authentic, and when Mr. Trump speaks, it’s always from his heart. America’s interests are also finally going to be put first because Donald Trump is on our side. He’ll create jobs, reform immigration, take care of our vets, and keep us safe without threatening our security by having to be politically correct. There also won’t be any government corruption under a Trump presidency, only renewed American spirit.

What do you think of Hillary Clinton?

I am absolutely disgusted by Hillary Clinton. I think she is a disgraceful, corrupt politician, and a horrid representation of females in politics. Hillary thinks she is above the law. She lies. She takes millions of dollars from countries where women are still abused through her foundation to fund her campaign. Worst of all, she insults my intelligence and other young ladies like myself by trying to influence women to only vote for her because she’s a woman.

What do you think when people say Trump is a misogynist?

Donald Trump is not a misoginyst because he loves women. He’s always loved the beauty of women and has hired many female executives because he know’s the capability women have to be successful. His wife runs a jewelry line and his daughter has her own clothing brand. Donald Trump also used to own the Miss Universe Organization that gave many young women opportunities.

What do you think of the #TrumpGirlsBreakTheInternet craze?

The #TrumpGirlsBreakTheInternet is an awesome Twitter trend because it gives an opportunity for women to show their support for Donald Trump. It’s not easy to be an outspoken Trump supporter because of the ‘intolerable left’ who want to suppress other opinions other than their own. However this movement really encouraged female Trump supporters to flaunt their Trump gear regardless of how brutal people would be online, since in the end it really showed how hateful liberals can be.

How to Trump babes compare to Clinton or Bernie babes?

Clinton or Bernie babes are kind of boring, like their candidate. Trump babes, and women who support Donald Trump are more like fireworks because we have colorful personalities and a lot of vibrancy. We reflect Mr. Trump’s exciting character, and more so are confident, patriotic, passionate, and proud of who we support. We have the freedom to express however we like, and like a firework, it usually doesn’t go unnoticed.

Do you think he’ll win?

Donald Trump will absolutely win in a landslide because millions of voters; republicans, democrats, independents, voters who never voted before, are coming out to vote for him. He set a record in the primary alone while other candidates were still in the race. As Hillary Clinton’s lies and corruption are being more and more exposed, the American people are waking up realizing they cannot trust her.

Yes I have always been a republican.

Do you think Trump is the best Republican leader ever?

Yes I think Trump is a great candidate for the GOP. The Republican Party – especially with my generation has been looked upon as very “old school”. Trump is more moderate than most GOP candidates you’ve seen in previous elections. His ideas and plans for our country are beneficial for everyone. So many democrats have switched over to republican so that they could vote for Trump.

What do you think about claims Donald is racist?

I find it extremely annoying and absurd with the claims that Trump is a racist as well as the fact his supporters are racist for supporting him.

What do you think of the wall idea?

A temporary ban on Muslims is first off not racist because it’s a religion not a race and it’s only done for the protection of our people. We need to know who is coming into our country. Building a wall is for the protection of our people as well. So many liberal trolls on social media call it the “wall of hate” but I find it hypocritical because these people are illegal and that’s breaking a law and what not. If they don’t have the respect to become a citizen and respect our process why should care about their feelings and jeopardize our citizens safety?

What do you think of Hillary Clinton?

Hillary Clinton.. Where do I start. Not only has she lied about events that lead to the death of Americans. For years she’s also been suppressing rape victims. Her views have continuously flip flopped. And at this point I just think that “well Bill could do it so why can’t I” – she’s not doing it for the benefit of our country but for the benefit of herself.

What is your opinion on gun control?

As we’ve seen in multiple other countries through history, gun control typically leads to a dictatorship. (N.Korea, Nazi Germany) why would we take the chance of repeating history like that? Plus regardless of gun control laws, if someone really wants to shoot a place up they’ll find a way to do it. Criminals always find a way around laws.

I do not believe Donald Trump is a racist. I believe it is a distraction to even acknowledge such claims.

I believe Hillary is a liar and should be in jail. I’m excited that a woman is running but that she is not the right woman for the job.

I am 41, my name is Patricia Passaretti. I just moved to SW Florida from San Jose, California. I am a small business owner, college educated (B.A. in Radio, TV & Film) & have been a conservative my entire life.

Why are you voting for Trump?

I have been supporting Trump publicly since 2013. Coming from CA, I find the direction the country has gone in over the last 7-8 years has been extremely detrimental – to Americans, our economy, our mental state, our safety & security and our race relations.

What do you mean by race relations?

As far as race relations, I am referring to many things but most specifically how we have been more divided as a country since Obama took office. He has actually, what seems to be intentionally, causes a friction amongst us. It’s sick.

Being from California, I have witnessed the immense amount illegals coming into our state, abusing the system, taking our money and creating their own little Mexico by not assimilating into our society.

I can only pray that Trump will get into office, which I firmly believe he will. If he does not, I am certain there will be a major revolution like nothing we’ve ever seen before in history. This ‘Black Lives Matter’ B.S. is a made up cause. The illegals who are trolling Trump rallies and waving Mexican flags should be ashamed of themselves. Any other country in the world this would not be tolerated but here we all say, “Poor illegals escaping a third world country. Let them have their way. We don’t want to take their rights away.”

Trump’s hands? I have zero comment on that. Another deflection from the real issues.

What do you think of the Mexican wall idea?

Mexican wall? YES, YES, and YES! We need to secure our borders due to all of the above I have mentioned. Besides just Mexican illegals coming across the border, there are many coming in from the Middle East with the precise intention of infiltrating American culture based on their Islamic ideology. That needs to be shut down permanently! I’ve done a lot of research and I know that there are many ISIS training camps along the U.S. Mexico border. It needs to stop! No illegal immigration! If you want to come in, there’s a process like everything else.

Brexit for sure. All about independence and not being held hostage by another country’s government.

Neither. I’m not a Disney fan at all.

Why are you voting Trump?

Donald is not at all against women. He loves women, he’s a ladies man, a ladykiller. He has more female executives than men and they are paid more.

I do believe Trump will win, he’s the man for the job. Hillary isn’t going to make it anywhere close to being elected.

How to Trump girls compare to Clinton girls?

I think Trump girls are more sophisticated and educated. We don’t buy into want our schools have taught us and we know what’s right for us as people and our country.

I am voting Trump because I believe he is the way better choice over Hillary. And I share some of the same values as Trump since he is the republican nominee.

Why are you voting for Donald Trump?

I’ve been on the trump train since day 1. Even before my parents. I like that he speaks the way normal people do, and that I don’t need a legal dictionary to decode what he’s saying. I’ve read his policies (which are on his website, for everyone who says he doesn’t have any) and I like them all.

I know a couple, not many. But there are people my age I talk to about it.

What do you think of people that say Donald Trump is a racist?

Apparently wanting a border wall is racist. I didn’t know that until Trump starting running for president. Also people get confused because when he was talking about Mexico bringing drugs, crime, etc. he added “their rapists” but everyone thinks he meant “they’re rapists”. Anyway I think they’re being ridiculous. Many people of color who have worked for him have come out and said there’s not a racist bone in his body. I believe them.

She reminds me of Cersei Lannister from Game of Thrones. An evil manipulative woman who had to pretend to be diplomatic and good so people will like her.
