President Obama has endorsed Hillary Clinton

President Obama has just endorsed Hillary Clinton as the Democratic Party’s presidential candidate.

He said: “I don’t think there’s ever been someone so qualified to hold this office.”

They have now announced a joint campaign event in Green Bay, Wisconsin on Wednesday, June 15.

This comes two days after Hillary Clinton secured the Democratic nomination, by winning more delegates than Bernie Sanders.

Meanwhile, Bernie has pledged to continue campaigning and planning to go to the Democratic Convention in Philadelphia.
