Derwenter got the Ronaldo trim to raise money for mental health

Josh is raising money for Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM)

Josh Kerr, the well-known face of Derwent football recently had a drastic haircut to resemble Ronaldo, the Brazilian footballer during the World Cup of 2002. He has had the infamous haircut done in time for the beginning of the College Cup.

On Josh’s Justgiving page, he explains that he is raising money for the club’s charity CALM saying:

“Suicide is the single biggest killer of men under the age of 45 in the UK and the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is a charity dedicated to preventing male suicide and trying to combat the stigma of men seeking help when they need it.”

“CALM are a wonderful charity who do some tremendous work and it is this great cause for which me undertaking all this nonsense is all about – if it’s a penny or a pound your donation would be massively appreciated.”

Josh also added that he hopes to emulate Ronaldo’s phenomenal success at that World Cup (he scored 8 goals during the tournament) in the Black and the Blue colours of Derwent AFC. Currently, Josh has raised an amazing £596.27.

The Tab will also like to take this opportunity to wish every college team every success in this year’s College Cup.
