York’s most eligible bachelor is Ryan Hill

After numerous steamy heats which saw fierce competition with smoulders to match, it’s time to announce the winner of York’s most eligible bachelor 2017.

It is with great pleasure to crown the dear and darling, Surrey lad Mr Ryan Hill as York’s Most Eligible Bachelor. Ryan’s repertoire reveals his charm, intelligence and business accolade; running his student property business, The Student Agency. This 6’3″ lad is every bit the gentleman York needs.

Catching up with the man himself, when asked how he felt upon receiving the good news, Ryan confessed, “The whole competition has been great fun, such a laugh, and the perfect way to conclude my third year at York. It has been so nice to see the support from my friends and everyone else who voted, and the high I need to get through these coming months!”

Pressing Ryan to speculate his ideal women, Ryan shared, “My ideal woman may be hard to define in a few lines, but effectively I would look for someone who’s not only spontaneous, fun and adventurous but someone who is also interesting and great to talk to. Oh, and they must love Dominoes nights in!”

I tried to get out of him how he’d woo her, but, to quote, “No comment; that is my intellectual property”. Alright Ryan, whatever you say mate.

When asked how he intends to celebrate his success, Ryan expressed, “I think it is definitely worth celebrating. Well…any excuse to go out as January exams are now finished really. As there is no more Willow, I guess the only other place fancy enough in York to celebrate is Kuda or Salvation” Jack Wills-up, Ryan, we’ll see you at the tiki bar!

Any words for your competitors, Ryan? “I did not get the pleasure of meeting Theo or Joe; however, I was able to meet James on a night out where we got the chance to talk. We took a selfie together. It was great. He was a really nice guy and a great contender for York’s most Eligible Bachelor. I wish them all the best!”
