VIDEO: Fresher shaves head after raising £7,000 for her mum’s cancer treatment
Over 200 people donated to the fundraising page
Jonny LongYork fresher, Masha Rodionova, has raised over £7,000 through crowdfunding to pay for her mum’s cancer treatment that was not available on the NHS.
The Tab reported Masha’s achievement three weeks ago, and that she would be shaving her head in return, as she had promised to donors.
We went along on the day of Masha’s head shaving, and chatted to her about her achievement, how she did it, and how she’s enjoying her shaved head.
