Student named as one of two people charged after stabbing at Warwick halls

Anam Ausaf is a first year Law student


A University of Warwick student has been named as one of two people charged after the stabbing at Sherbourne accommodation on Wednesday.

Anam Ausaf, an 18-year-old from Wilkinson Close, London has been charged with section 18 wounding.

This is otherwise known as causing grievous bodily harm with intent to do grievous bodily harm, or wounding with intent to do GBH. It carries a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.

Ausaf is a first year Warwick student at the School of Law.

Rohan Ahluwalia-Pandor, an 18-year-old from Barns Lane, Kings Langley, Herfordshire, was also charged. They will both appear at Coventry Magistrates’ Court today (Friday 19 November).
