Dappy from N-Dubz is performing at the Assembly during Freshers’ Week

I know, I can’t believe it either

To kick off the new academic year, Dappy, formerly the lead singer in the hip-hop group N-Dubz, will be performing at Leamington's very own Assembly.

Despite making his fame in the group N-Dubz, with hits such as "Playing With Fire", and "I Need You," Dappy has recently been back in the charts as a solo artist, with his song "Oh My".

Dappy will be gracing the Assembly on the 24th September, which is the Monday of Warwick's first ever Week 0, an entire week of Freshers' events without lectures or academic commitments.

However, Dappy's live set at the Assembly clashes with another night-out, the infamous foam party held in the SU, which takes place each year during freshers week.

The Assembly made the announcement on Facebook, saying: "Our resident DJ will be playing all the very best in R&B, Hip-Hop & Grime all night long either side of Dappys Live performance."

Early bird tickets are still available for £5, but tickets are set to sell out very quickly.
