Warwick University has been ranked in the top 100 best universities in the world.

The Times Higher Education World Rankings ranked us 82nd, meaning Warwick has fallen two places from 80 in 2015.

Warwick is now several places above Durham, who ranked 96th, and we was also higher than St. Andrews, Exeter, Leeds and Nottingham.

Pleased with retaining the position of being one of the best universities in the world, Sarah Hill, a second year Philosophy and Literature student, said: “We’re still getting gradually better in the UK rankings – I think two places in the world rankings isn’t significant enough to be worried about.’

Commenting on Warwick’s success, the university’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Stuart Croft, said: “The University of Warwick’s ranking in the top 100 of both the THE and the QS World University tables reflects our global reputation for research, teaching and academic excellence, our ground-breaking international collaborations and our community of staff and students from around the globe.”
