Meet Warwick’s new freshers
The best of the Facebook group
So as the academic year draws to a close and we lose a whole year of finalists, a bunch of eager, fresh faced newbies begin to plague our Facebooks with their innance and anxious questions about Warwick.
They’re a little naiive and so so fresh just like we all were once so here are a few highlights (so far) from next years freshers:
The Rugby Lad:
We all were naive before we started, we didn’t think initiations would be that bad, that they couldn’t make you drink that much. We were wrong. This guy will soon learn that he is not prepared for what being part of the rugby team entails.
The Naive Accommodation Pickers:
I don’t know who it is who puts Whitefields as their first choice? I don’t know who it is who thinks that Tocil will be lovely or that Westwood is worth the walk but these Freshers need to do their research. Unless of course they like living in a sweaty prison.
The Politician:
I’m not sure what it is about the referendum that makes people think people you’ve never met care at all to how they’ll vote. Vote in, Vote out it’s really up to you but why you feel the need to tell your new freshers is beyond me.
The Comedian:
Why do so many people try and be funny? You won’t come across as funny, you’re trying to tell a joke to a bunch of strangers and then you’re surprised when you don’t rake in the likes… Just answer the bloody question mate
This one who I hope is being sarcastic:
When I was preparing for Warwick I was excited for a lot of things, societies, sports, my course, making new friends, the list goes on and on. But this guy clearly has other priorities:
The Drinker:
Drinking is a large part of a lot of student’s experience at uni but for this guy is clearly the central theme…
