WBS Exam cancelled due to a lack of chairs

They were told five minutes before it was supposed to start


Students were told a WBS exam was cancelled because they didn’t have enough chairs. 

The examination for “Foundations of Finance” (a WBS module for students outside of the department) was meant to take place in the Panorama Rooms from 10-11am this morning.

But at 9.55, it was cancelled because the room was not set up with enough chairs.

The examination , worth 20 per cent of the module, has been rearranged to take place in Term 3 and this has stirred outrage amongst the 400 students on this course.

We asked Tristan, a Second Year MORSE student, to elaborate on how he felt:

“We were all obviously angry because all of this had been such a waste of our time and when we received a note stating that the exam will now take place early in Term 3, we found it outrageous because some of us have April exams and other modules to study for.””
