BREAKING: Body found in River Leam

He was found just outside the Pump Rooms


The body of a 57 year old man was pulled out of the River Leam at around 7.55am today.

A spokeswoman from Warwickshire Police said that, “Formal identification has not yet taken place but the body is believed to be that of a 57year old man from Radford Semele.”

The body was found just outside the Pump Room Gardens this morning.

An ambulance was initially called to the scene, while police secured the surrounding area and cordoned off York Bridge.

The events are not currently being considered as suspicious, and the next of kin has been informed.
