A drug addict who stole £15 worth of Aero chocolate in Coventry has avoided prison after he promised to return them.

Keith Beasley stole a £15 box of Aero Bubbly Bars from the Morrison’s Garage in Coventry.

In one smooth manoeuvre Beasley swiped the chocs, casually telling the discerning staff that he’d “put it back later”.

Despite the calm promise, Beasley was quickly caught.

Pleading guilty to his crime, Beasley revealed his master plan: to sell on the bars to “anyone he could”.

He also failed to attend a drugs test when he forgot what the time was. He was also found in possession of a small amount of Heroin.

Beasley said sorry and repaid the money back to Morrisons.
