Two people have been charged with murder over the Blue Mountain stabbing

The men appeared at Bristol Crown Court yesterday


Two men have been charged with murder after a man died in a stabbing at Blue Mountain Club on Saturday night.

Ian Power and Errol Anderson have both been charged with the murder of Jamel Powell, 37, following an altercation at the nightclub in Stokes Croft.

Police were called to Blue Mountain around 3am on Saturday after receiving reports of an attack.

Mr Powell sadly died later in hospital.

Avon and Somerset Police reported that a post-mortem examination showed multiple stab wounds on the victim.

In connection to the case, two brothers of Jamel Powell appeared before magistrates courts, accused of wounding Mr Anderson with the intent of Grievous Bodily Harm.

Rafiki Powell and Meikel Powell have both been charged with GBH after a 55-year-old man was assaulted outside the club a short time after Mr Powell was attacked.
