UWE close the gap on Bristol in new rankings
The Complete University Guide rankings are in
Reuben NashAfter huge recent success in the whatuni.com rankings last week, UWE has slipped five places to 67th in The Complete University Guide league table.
On a more positive note, we’re ahead of nearby rivals Bath Spa and Gloucestershire coming in at 76th and 89th respectively.
Unlucky Bristol plummeted from 15th to 24th.
The rankings are based on nine factors: Student Satisfaction, Research Quality, Research Intensity, Entry Standards, Student: Staff Ratio, Spending on Academic Services, Spending on Student Facilities, Good Honours degrees achieved, Graduate Prospects and Completion.
With UWE having just completed the new SU, Wallscourt halls and the new business building nearing completion it seems like the spending on Academic Services and Student Facilities may have been overlooked.
