UCLan ranked third worst for student satisfaction in the UK
National Student Survey figures have been released today
UCLan has been ranked third worst for overall student satisfaction in the National Student Survey released today.
With a score of 83 per cent, UCLan was just ahead of the University of Edinburgh who ranked worst for student for satisfaction with a score of 80 per cent. St Andrews came top with a score of 94 per cent.
Lancaster University scored much higher than UCLan, ranking joint third highest with a score of 91 per cent. This year’s result shows a slight drop in student satisfaction, with UCLan scoring 85 per cent in the 2015 NSS.
The poor result may come as a surprise as Preston was named as the cheapest uni city in the UK last year, with equally poor rankings in student satisfaction from universities such as UCL and King’s potentially being attributed to the high cost of student living in the capital.
