Trent secures its place as one of the world’s top unis

We’re on par with Brighton and Coventry

Nottingham Trent fell in the best 600-800 in the world bracket in the Times Higher Education World Rankings, released today.

We stayed in the same bracket as last year with Coventry, Brighton and Greenwich. Trent continues to impress internationally and our spot means that we are maintaining a place on the world stage against 980 institutions from 79 different countries.

We did well to secure it’s place, as this year, many prestigious universities such as Edinburgh and King’s dropped down a couple of places and Durham took a big tumble, falling down the list by 26 places.

The rankings are based on whether the respected universities have maintained their teaching and research standards, as well as their approach on knowledge transfer and international outlook.
