Harry Styles is to star in new Amazon show ‘My Policeman’ set in Brighton

He will star alongside The Crown’s Emma Corrin

Harry Styles is reportedly returning to the south following his Seven Sisters Vogue photoshoot to star in the new Amazon show ‘My Policeman’, The Argus reported.

The show is set in Brighton and will also star Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild award nominee Emma Corrin, who was nominated for her portrayal of Princess Diana in The Crown.

Corrin is set to play a woman called Marion who is married to Styles’ on screen character, Tom, who will play the police officer mentioned in the title of the show. This could mean that he will have a reoccurring role throughout the series.

The plot is set in the late 1900’s and follows the arrival of an elderly man, Patrick, who triggers chaos and the unraveling of events from years prior, as well as exploring Tom and Patrick’s relationship at a time when homosexuality was still illegal. The show is based off of Bethan Roberts’ novel published in 2012 with the same title.
