Sussex Uni announces rent reductions for students unable to return to campus
As the University work though the details, payments due on Tuesday won’t be collected
Emily JarvisThe University of Sussex student communications has emailed students stating they are looking at rent reductions for students who are unable to travel back to campus during the lockdown.
The email states rent payments that were be due to be paid on Tuesday won’t be collected as the university works through the details.
It then goes on to state: “Students who do remain on campus during the lockdown will need to continue will their contractual arrangements”.
This email comes after yesterday’s email which states the university has decided to ‘develop a no detriment policy’.
