UPDATED: Latest coronavirus figures for Sussex Uni have been released
The figures are a decrease from last week’s numbers
Cameron EtchellsAs of the 1st of November 2020, 52 people on the University of Sussex’s campus are currently isolating as a result of positive COVID-19 tests. This includes 23 students on campus, 28 students off-campus and one member of staff off-campus.
However, on a positive note, this is a considerable decline from a peak of 113 people having to self-isolate as of the 26th of October.
Public Health England has found that the number of COVID-19 cases in Brighton increased by 127 since Friday with 131 new cases across East Sussex and 311 cases in West Sussex.
