‘THIS MUST END’: End SARS vigil in Brighton this Friday

“Time to fight and stand up for Nigeria”

A vigil calling for the “disbandment of abusive police unit”, SARS, (now called SWAT), is set to take place on Friday the 30th of October 2020.

The vigil will begin at 4pm at The Level and will end at 6pm.

The Facebook event explains the purpose of the vigil: it “is to stand in solidarity with the protestors in Nigeria, call attention to this human rights issue and demand that the UK government be more vocal and active in regards to this important matter.”

“SARS/SWAT is responsible for kidnapping, murder, theft and torture in Nigeria. THIS MUST END.”
