Brighton Pride working on ‘contingency plans’ to make sure the event still goes ahead

A chance to see Mariah Carey and the Pussycat Dolls, what’s not to like?

Organisers for Brighton Pride have said that they are still willing for the event to go ahead as planned, and that “contingency plans” have been put in place to ensure this.

The event, which is due to take place from Saturday 1st to Sunday 2nd of August, is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year and is one of the highlights of the year for the LGBTQ+ community. Headliners this summer include Mariah Carey and The Pussycat Dolls, and the festival often attracts over 450,000 people.

Tickets for the event can be purchased here.
