Sussex Snow cancel Easter ski trip to Andorra
Andorra resorts have closed for the remainder of the season due to COVID-19
It is with a “heavy heart” that Sussex snow have had to announce that the Easter ski trip to Andorra this coming April has been cancelled.
Sussex snow have posted on Facebook and Instagram to confirm that they are “heartbroken” to not be going ahead with the renowned trip.
The cancellation comes after it was announced that Andorra will be closing their ski resorts as of March 14, 2020 to “increase precaution and avoid as maximum the risk of contagion of the COVID-19 coronavirus”.
Many students have been left upset by this news, but have been reassured by Sussex Snow that committee are in close talks with NUCO Travel to “determine the next steps”. They have also promised to keep students updated with any changes, and have told people keep an eye on their inboxes.
This news comes soon after students were advised by NUCO to ensure they had travel insurance that covers the instance of the FCO advising against travel to their intended destination.
We’re sure Sussex snow won’t let this news stop them from partying in Brighton.
