Sussex University bars are offering anti-spiking stoppers for your drinks

No more covering your drink with your hand

The University of Sussex bars have now put in place anti-spiking stoppers which fit into the top of bottles, whether that be beer, cider or a VK.

The devices, created by the company Spikey, are simply placed into the bottle neck and create a tight seal that stops anyone from being able to slip something into your drink. The stoppers have a hole in the top that allows for a straw to sit securely so you can safely enjoy your drink. Even better is that these devices are made of 100% recycled materials and even glow in UV light, FUN! This glowing ability is meant so that it is known that your drink is safe. They’re one-time-use products so you don’t have to be concerned about germs from anyone.

So the next time you and your friends want to get drunk at Uni, ask one of the bartenders to give you one of these stoppers and have a care-free, fun night.
