Sussex students cover Falmer Quad in chalk messages ahead of upcoming strikes

Frances GurneyFollowing recent events and University of Sussex lecturers announcing industrial action, University of Sussex students have taken to Falmer square tonight to show their support for the strikes by marking Falmer quad with chalk.
The message above reads: "Working conditions = Learning conditions"
The other message that students wrote says "Don't cross the picket" and underneath that is written "Support the strike" with the dates and times of the picket line following.
Students are getting ready to show their solidarity with strikes which are set to begin on the 25th of November, this upcoming Monday.
It is currently not definite that the strikes will go ahead, however students are already beginning to show their support for when they begin.
