Buses will not stop at University of Sussex during strikes

Buses 23 and 25 are among affected services

Brighton and Hove buses have announced that buses will not stop at the University of Sussex campus whilst strikes are ongoing.

Bus routes 5B, 23, 25, 25X, 50U and 84 will not serve the university campus between 7am and 6pm.

The University of Sussex is striking alongside 60 other universities over the country from November 25th to December 4th, demanding action concerning pension and pay.

Bus services will, however, still be stopping at the University of Sussex bus stop on the A27 adjacent to campus. The University of Brighton (Falmer campus) bus stop will also remain open.

Trains are still running as timetabled as an alternative route to university.
