Caroline Lucas to visit University of Sussex this week

The MP for Brighton Pavilion will talk to students about Brexit, local issues and the upcoming election.


Caroline Lucas, Member of Parliament for Brighton Pavilion and Leader of the Green Party, will visit the University of Sussex on Friday 8th November to give a talk to students about "politics and the media, especially in light of Brexit".

Caroline Lucas has been the serving MP for the Brighton Pavilion constituency since the 2010 General Election as the Green Party's only current representative in Parliament.

The event, hosted by The University of Sussex Journalism Society, is taking place in Arts A2 from 1pm, and will see Lucas discuss a variety of topics including the Green Party, the upcoming general election, and, of course, Brexit.

Members of the audience will be able to ask questions and join in the debate to have their say on these issues.
