The Brighton Pavilion Ice Rink is back and celebrating 10 years

Time to get your skates on!

| UPDATED

It is beginning to get cold outside and your sweaters and scarves have come out of the wardrobe. The local Aldi is selling Christmas decorations already and maybe you have even started to listen to your Christmas playlist. But every Sussex student knows that the best thing about the festive period is the Royal Pavilion ice rink!

This year, the ice rink is opening it's doors for the tenth time, so hop on your skates, as they are already booking up!

The ice rink will be open for everyone until January 19th 2020 so get in there before it's time to go home for Christmas!

If you don't enjoy skating but suffer with FOMO then you can enjoy watching your friends fall about from the comfort of the Pavillon Ice Rink bar.

Skating sessions are an hour each and students pay only £10 entry for peak, and £7 for off-peak sessions. Tickets for these sessions can be booked online, which is recommended for peak times, or can be purchased at the ticket counter at the rink.

The peak times are often quite busy but filled with a lovely Christmas atmosphere as the pavilion will be lit up like a Christmas tree. However if you plan on practicing your jumps and triple axels, we recommend going for an early session as you might be able to have almost all of the ice rink to yourself!

So grab your friends and get your knee-pads on because the festive season is truly about to begin.
