Here’s everything going on in Brighton this October

You won’t wanna miss this spooky season!

So you're all settled in, lectures have begun, and you can't believe it's already October! You may be wondering how to spend your time in the lead up to Halloween but fear not, The Sussex Tab has the perfect guide to all events (scary and otherwise) taking place in Brighton this month.

October 1st – Lewis Capaldi Appreciation Night, The Arch

Yes, you read that correctly! The Arch is dedicating an entire night to the funniest man on social media. Expect Lewis Capaldi masks, cut outs, and Scottish treats in homage to the homeland of the 'Somebody You Loved' singer.

The night will also be full of Capaldi tunes so get ready to sing your heart out!

October 4th – Student Shopping Night, Churchill Square

Our student loan has just come in so why not splash your hard earned (borrowed) cash at Churchill Square. With 20 per cent off brands including Topman and Urban outfitters, it'd be rude not to.

October 4th-18th – Halloween @ Globalls

If you have lived in Brighton for a while, you have almost definitely visited Globalls at the Marina. Perfect for socials or a first date, this mini-golf venue has kitted out a whole new course specifically for Halloween.

The course will include a neon Dracula, skeletons and zombies for you and your new flatmates to putt through. The perfect way to bond with your new friends!

October 11th – Big Student Giveaway, Shooshh

We all know that the first few weeks of university can really empty out the wallet. That is why Runway Fridays annual student giveaway is the place to be this October.

Whole trollies of goodies are up for grabs, as well as free tickets to some of the biggest upcoming events in Brighton, so get yourself down to Shooshh and do future you a favour and save some money.

October 18th – Polyglamorous

Infamous queer dance party, Polyglamorous is making a return this month at new venue Chalk. The event promises to provide gay bangers and queer pop that will set the dance floor alight.

With cheaper entry for those wearing black, be prepared to see some sickening looks that will definitely kill.

October 24th – Musical Bingo Halloween Special, Komedia

If club nights out aren't for you, this event is sure to be just as fun and will still leave you feeling spooky.

The night is just like the regular bingo we all know and love, but instead of numbers being shouted out, songs are played. There are different themes throughout the night to keep things exciting and plenty of prizes to be won.

There will even be awards for the best costumes so make sure to pull out your best fancy dress for the night.

October 26th – SuperCharged SHY FX Halloween Special, The Arch

This night promises to be one of the biggest in Brighton this October as the Arch welcomes back SHY FX for the traditional Halloween Special.

This night is sure to be the perfect way to spend your final weekend of October, but be sure to grab your tickets for the event fast as 50 per cent of them have already sold out!

31st October – Halloween Seafront Block Party

There are of course endless options regarding how to spend your Halloween night in Brighton, but this party has everything from live actors to venues that have been transformed to fit the spooky theme of the evening.

The bar crawl spans four of Brighton's biggest and best clubs, so why make the impossible choice of one place to go this Halloween when you could stop by them all?
