BREAKING: Deadlines have been extended by seven days

More time for procrastination

Due to the impact of IT problems this week, the University has extended submission deadlines by 7 days for the weeks commencing the 1st and the 8th of May.

The update read ‘Extending these deadlines by 7 days moves them into the period when examinations are scheduled. We are unable to reschedule examinations, so in recognition of the difficulty this may cause, any late submission penalties incurred for these assessments will be waived.

‘We are liaising with academic colleagues regarding assessments with no permissible late submission or just a 24 hour period of permissible late submission and will contact affected students on a case by case basis.’

The extended deadlines scheduled for next week will be visible on Study Direct from Monday the 8th of May

View the mobile update here. Students are advised to contact their school faculty for more information on deadline submissions, specifically dissertations.

We will update with more information as it comes.
