It’s almost time to say goodbye to Brighton’s Snowdogs

We’ll all be sad to see them go

The Martlets Hospice’s Snowdog Trail will come to an end on Sunday as the sculptures are removed at dusk ready to be auctioned off.

Over the past eight weeks, the 44 Snowdogs have decorated the streets of Brighton and Hove and residents have fallen in love with them.

There will be a final event on December 4th and 5th at the Brighton Dome where the public can see the pack together for the last time before they are auctioned off on December 6th.

Sarah Harvey from Martlets Hospice has been managing the project. Speaking to JuiceBrighton, she said: “We’ve got a lot of people expressing interest” in buying the dogs. The money raised from the auction will go towards helping residents of Brighton and Hove who are living with terminal illnesses.

Anyone wanting to do the entire Snowdog Trail or say goodbye to their favourite before they are removed from the streets can download the map here.
