What on earth is Rocket League?

It’s a football game, but instead of men, you’re a tiny car with rockets. The aim is trying to score goals with tiny cars and giant balls; it’s impossible and infuriating but more addictive than crack.

Football with rocket-powered cars? Sounds amazing, how big is Rocket League?

It’s played globally and recently became an official eSport. A current Championship series is currently underway with a $75,000 prize pot.

Why are you taking up this challenge?

It’s a fantastic charity and its definitely a challenge we can get behind. It’s amazing to be able raise money for an awesome cause whilst doing what we love.

How are you going to survive the 24-hour marathon?

We’ll all be playing for 24 hours, with a half-hour break every few hours and a diet of Red Bull and god awful microwave burgers. After 24 hours our brains will almost certainly be leaking out of our ears, but it’s worth it to help Macmillan in anyway we can.

How can we sponsor you and follow the event?

You can donate via JustGiving and we will be streaming the event on Twitch for people to watch.
